Terms of Service

Agreement and eligibility

These Terms govern your access to Nythra. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms, the Privacy Policy, the Acceptable Use Policy, and—if you purchase a paid plan—the Billing Policy.

You must be legally able to enter a contract and must provide accurate account information. If you use Nythra for an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.

Accounts and authorized use

You are responsible for safeguarding passwords, recovery codes, API keys, alert destinations, and activity under your account. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.

You may monitor only targets you are legally permitted to access and monitor. You are responsible for your monitoring configuration, the content you submit, and compliance with applicable law and third-party terms.

The service

Nythra attempts checks according to your plan and configuration, but check timing and results can be affected by target outages, blocking, page structure, networks, providers, maintenance, and events outside our control. A successful HTTP request does not guarantee that a target returned the content you expected.

Monitoring results are informational and are not legal, financial, security, emergency, or professional advice. Do not rely on Nythra as the sole control for safety-critical, life-critical, or legally mandated notice systems.

Plans and changes

Features, usage limits, retention, and check intervals vary by plan. Current plan details are shown before purchase and in the dashboard. We may improve or modify the service, and we will provide reasonable notice before a material reduction to a paid plan where practicable.

Beta, preview, or early-access functionality may change or be discontinued and may be less reliable than generally available features.

Suspension and termination

You may stop using Nythra at any time and may delete an eligible account from Settings. We may restrict or suspend access to protect the service, prevent harm, address nonpayment, comply with law, or respond to a material breach of these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy.

We will use reasonable efforts to provide notice and an opportunity to cure when circumstances allow. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination—including payment obligations, ownership, disclaimers, and liability limits—continue to apply.

Ownership and feedback

You retain rights in the configurations and content you submit. You grant Nythra the limited rights needed to host, process, reproduce, and transmit that content solely to operate, secure, and improve the service.

Nythra and its licensors retain rights in the service, software, branding, and documentation. If you provide feedback, you allow us to use it without restriction or compensation.

Disclaimers and liability

To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of uninterrupted operation, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

To the extent permitted by law, Nythra is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or lost-profit damages. Nythra’s aggregate liability arising from the service will not exceed the amount you paid Nythra during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. Rights that cannot legally be limited remain unaffected.

Changes and contact

We may update these Terms. If a change materially affects your rights, we will provide reasonable advance notice when practicable. Continued use after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.

Questions or legal notices may be sent to the contact address below. Applicable mandatory consumer protections are not excluded by these Terms.
