Information we collect

We collect account information such as your name, email address, authentication records, plan, preferences, and security settings. Stripe processes payment details; Nythra receives billing identifiers and subscription status, not complete card numbers.

When you configure monitoring, we process target URLs, monitoring rules, page responses, extracted content, change history, screenshots, response metadata, alert destinations, and delivery records. You decide which targets and alert destinations to provide.

If you install the Nythra Chrome Connector, it opens only monitoring jobs assigned by your Nythra account and sends the assigned target and final URL, configured page values, measurements, and screenshots you enable directly to Nythra over encrypted connections. Website cookies, saved passwords, form credentials, and browsing activity unrelated to assigned monitoring jobs remain in Chrome and are not collected by Nythra. The connector does not automate CAPTCHAs, circumvent paywalls, or defeat website access controls. A revocable device credential is stored locally so the connector can receive your monitoring jobs.

We also process limited service telemetry, including IP address, browser or user-agent information, request identifiers, login and signup events, usage counters, error records, and security events. Session cookies are used to keep you signed in and protect your account.

How we use information

• Provide, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the monitoring service.
• Run scheduled checks, identify changes, retain evidence, and deliver alerts you configure.
• Authenticate users, prevent abuse, enforce plan limits, and protect service reliability.
• Process subscriptions, communicate about accounts, and comply with legal obligations.
• Measure aggregate product usage without selling personal information or monitoring content.

Chrome Web Store Limited Use disclosure

Information accessed through the Nythra Chrome Connector is used only to provide or improve its single customer-facing purpose: executing website-change monitoring jobs assigned by the customer and returning the configured result. Nythra does not sell this information or use it for advertising, creditworthiness, lending, or unrelated profiling.

Connector information is transferred only when necessary to provide or improve that monitoring purpose, for security or abuse prevention, to comply with law, or as part of a business transaction subject to appropriate protections. Humans do not read monitored content except with the customer’s affirmative consent for support, when necessary for security or legal compliance, or after the information has been aggregated and anonymized for internal operations. These commitments apply to the Chrome Connector’s use of Chrome permissions and user data.

Service providers and disclosures

Nythra uses service providers to host the application and database, process payments, deliver email, and—when enabled for a feature—perform managed browser checks or AI-assisted watch setup. Relevant target, account, or transaction data is sent only as needed to provide that function. Current core providers include Railway, Stripe, Resend, Browserless, and OpenAI where the applicable feature is enabled.

We may disclose information when required by law, to protect users or the service, or as part of a business transaction subject to appropriate confidentiality. We do not sell personal information or monitoring content.

Retention and deletion

Monitoring history and screenshots are bounded by plan limits and operational retention rules. Security, billing, delivery, and abuse-prevention records may be retained longer where needed for legitimate operations, dispute handling, fraud prevention, or law.

You can export account information and permanently delete an eligible account from Settings. Deletion removes customer-controlled account and monitoring data from active systems, subject to short-lived backups and records that must be retained for legal, security, or financial reasons.

Your choices and rights

You can update notification preferences, pause or delete watches, revoke API credentials, export account information, and request account deletion. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or receive a copy of personal information, or object to certain processing.

Security, children, and changes

We use technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect customer information, but no online service can guarantee absolute security. Nythra is not directed to children under 13, and users must be old enough to form a binding contract where they live.

We may update this policy as the service changes. Material changes will be communicated through the service or by email when appropriate, and the effective date above will be updated.
